Lucas Marques holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the School of Architecture and Urbanism at UFRJ, is currently pursuing a Master’s in Urbanism through the Graduate Program in Urbanism at the same institution, and has experience in architecture, urban planning, as well as architectural visualization and research.
As a professional, Lucas collaborates with the architecture and urbanism practices “A040,” where his work focuses on design research, urban design, drawing, and architecture representation.
Since 2021, he has been an assistant member of the research group “Architecture of the State of Transit,” coordinated by Professor Cauê Capillé, in the PROURB laboratories.
Throughout his studies, Lucas sought to challenge the boundaries of drawing conventions through ambitious designs and the analysis of complex urban configurations, ultimately aiming to develop a repertoire of tools to address urgent contemporary issues in architecture and urbanism.
